Dattage Christmas Trip
It is a tradition on the Dattage side of the family to go to Salt Lake and stay in a hotel and do some shopping before Christmas. This tradition started when Elden and Tamra's children were young. The kids love to meet and the hotel and go swimming and eat dinner together. We have started a new tradition that we meet in the Grandma and Grandpa's room for ice cream after swimming. After that Elden and Tamra gave out envelopes to each grandkid with a $100 to buy whatever they want. They also give each couple an envelope as well. You are supposed to spend your money the next day.
