Thanksgiving in Denver

Ryan has been a Denver Broncos fan since he was very little. This year Kendal and I surprised Ryan with tickets to their game on Thanksgiving Day. This was the first time Ryan had been inside their new stadium. Kendal bought a Champ Bailey jersey and Ryan got a Kyle Orton one. The Broncos played the Giants and ended up winning the game. There were a lot of fights and people getting kicked out of the game up where we were sitting but it was definately a fun place to watch the game. We got to the game hours before it started. Kendal and Ryan got to watch some of the players arrive at the stadium and the even got to see Champ a few feet away.

Kendal swam in the pool every chance she had!

Ryan and Kendal love to bowl together so of course we had to find a bowling alley in Denver.

We had our Thanksgiving dinner at the Black Eyed Pea. No one liked it except for Ryan.

Ken ate a lot of cheese cake on this trip! She found a new favorite!

One day we went to the Butterfly Pavilion. Kendal and Ryan both held a turanchula. Kendal was brave enough to try it first.

We also went to the Aquarium. We got to feed Stingrays and see a lot of fish and animals!

We ended up having a really fun roadtrip. Kendal was great on the eight hour ride there. It took a lot longer than that to get home because we hit a deer. While we were waiting for Lance on the side of the road for two hours Kendal and I played games int he back seat. This was a great family vacation that I will always remember. Ryan says now that he will attend one game every year. I hope that is true!!
